MeTA1 1.0.Alpha0.0 is available for testing. This version enhances scalability for large queue sizes and adds TLS session caching for the client.

2011-03-26 TLS session cache has been implemented for the client side too, however, only tests against MeTA1 itself have been performed.
2011-03-19 Instead of using bits=cipher/alg in a log statement, the values are split into cipher_bits and alg_bits; the latter is only logged if it is different from the former.
2011-03-02 If OpenSSL has the option SSL_OP_NO_TICKET defined, then set it by default for smtpc unless a TLS session cache is configured.
2011-03-02 To deal with systems that use large sizes for the active queue or have hundreds of thousands of entries in the deferred queue, some hash tables have been added to decrease algorithmic complexity. This allows several componentes to scale significantly better.
