MeTA1 1.0.Alpha2.0 is available for testing.
Due to enhancements for adaptive timeouts
and easier configuration modifications,
there are some changes in the DEFEDB format
and the configuration of connection_limits,
see below for details.

Adaptive timeouts
-- which were previously only implemented for
reading the reply to the final dot (end of message) -- are now
used for all protocol stages in smtpc.

qmgr: the format of the database DEFEDB has been changed, only
forward compatibility is available, i.e., after an upgrade you
cannot go back to a previous version without clearing out the
queue first.
- 2011-05-20
NOTE: Incompatible change: connection_limits are now selected
via the qmgr_conf map, not via the rcpt_domain option; see
the README file for details.
- 2011-05-02
If a (syntactically) invalid configuration file is specified then all
modules return EX_CONFIG immediately after trying to read the
configuration file.
- 2011-05-01
A regression has been fixed which did not set the initial number
of outgoing concurrent connections properly when reading oci:
entries.
